ORTHOPEDIC / SPORTS / RECREATIONAL FITNESS |
- This specialized program not only treats your injury, but identifies the mechanical cause of the problem that inhibits participation in fitness, exercise or sport.
- Once the cause is identified and healing has begun, the program progresses with specific exercise and activities that simulate the sport or activities to accelerate return to sport, fitness and / or daily routine.
- Mobilization with Movement: The foundation to our extremity program, addresses the joint/muscle interaction and helps restore normal function in a shorter period of time in most cases.

CORE STABILIZATION |
- We need trunk strength for everything that we do during the day. This program is dovetailed in to the patient's treatment program.
- The core stabilization program is not just another abdominal strengthening program.
- Core stabilization includes cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions as well as pelvic and shoulder girdle. It includes a combination of muscle re-education overlapping these areas and involves deep spinal muscles, pelvic floor and abdominal mechanism.
- Core stabilization uses various techniques to teach patients how to re-educate, strengthen, and maximize function in the areas involved.
- This component of the patient's program is built into the patient's daily lives: home, work, sports, recreation and fitness program.

VESTIBULAR REHABILITATION: Dizziness, Headaches and Vestibular Disorders |
- These problems can all be related to each other and require a high level of training to sort through. We use a 3 tiered approach to these problems:
- Vertigo related to position changes (BPPV) these require specific PRT (particle repositioning therapy).
- Upper cervical spine has significant implications in these symptoms: dizziness, nausea, balance and headaches. Headaches often have a mechanical component and can include the jaw (TMJ).
- Balance disorders can also involve dizziness, nausea, and often have a vestibular component. Specialized exercise and activities to help patients retrain, restore functional balance and improve their daily activities.

SPINE REHABILITATION |
- This program emphasizes a non traditional approach to helping patients restore function.
- This program includes mechanical diagnosis, figuring out what structure is generating pain.
- Mechanical treatment – specialized movements, mobilizations and exercises to enhance healing of the structures.
- The specialized program emphasizes restoring function, fitness and exercise reactivation without re-injuring the structure and most importantly, preventing reoccurance.
- The Spine Rehabilitation component also includes our highly sought after post-operative program. The program begins early after the surgical procedural and is specially designed to maximize full recovery. The treatment is individualized for the patient, the type of surgery and the surgeon's protocol. The clinicians work closely with the surgeon throughout the post-operative recovery period
